1st - 3rd March 2009, Dallas Fort Worth, Texas, USA
Greetings From Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport!

You’ve probably heard that everything in Texas is big, and DFW Airport is no exception. DFW covers nearly 30 square miles, and is larger than Manhattan Island. It is the world’s 3rd busiest airport in terms of operations, and 7th in terms of passengers. With seven runways and three control towers, DFW has the highest number of hourly operations in the United States – 279 VFR. Twenty passenger carriers serve DFW, offering service to more than 170 destinations worldwide.

DFW’s five terminals are linked by the high-speed Skylink train, which transports passengers between terminals in an average ride time of less than five minutes. The 2-million square foot International Terminal D is the Airport’s newest terminal, with a customs facility that can process 2,800 passengers per hour. Inside Terminal D and the Skylink train stations are dozens of pieces of art by local, national and international artists. DFW even has an on-site award-winning golf course:
Bear Creek Golf Club.

Beyond DFW Airport’s borders lies a mixture of cowboys and culture that you won’t find anywhere else. Fort Worth’s cultural district has five wonderful museums in a relaxing, park-like setting, including the
Amon Carter Museum, Kimbell Art Museum and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. For a taste of the Old West, visit the Stockyards National Historic District and see the world's only daily cattle drive. If music and dancing are more your style, visit Billy Bob’s Texas, “the world’s largest honky tonk.”
